Le Mans Ultimate: Welcome To DLC Pack 5

We have new cars and circuits on the menu to complete the 2024 World Endurance Championship in LMU.

The fifth and final instalment from Le Mans Ultimate completes the 2024 World Endurance Championship and that means new cars and circuits from the 2024 season!

Let’s take a quick look at what is coming on June 10th, specifically from a content perspective and the DLC, which is sure to be a hit amongst LMU fans.

A New Circuit

Qatar is officially on the menu, the circuit better known as the Lusail International Circuit. It hosts the season opener of the WEC calendar, the Qatar 1812km. A 10 hour endurance event named in honor of Qatar National Day on December 18th.

The track is known for its long straight and quick turns, offering a challenging experience for drivers. The 5.38-km circuit features a 1,068-meter straight and a series of quick turns through its 16 corners, making it a challenging track for Hypercars and LMGT3s alike.

The Lusail International Circuit stands as a testament to Qatar’s commitment to motorsport, offering state-of-the-art facilities and hosting a diverse array of racing events that attract fans and competitors from around the globe.

The Lexus RC F LMGT3

The Lexus RC F LMGT3 is Lexus’s entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship, competing in the LMGT3 class. Based on the production RC F coupe, this race car has been adapted to meet GT3 specifications, featuring a front-mounted 5.4-litre V8 engine, rear-wheel drive, and a carbon-fiber body to reduce weight and enhance performance.

Lexus, in partnership with the French-based AKKODIS ASP Team, debuted the RC F LMGT3 in the WEC’s LMGT3 category in 2024. The team fields two cars using the #78 and #87 numbers.

In its inaugural 2024 season, the RC F LMGT3 achieved notable success, including a podium finish at the 6 Hours of Imola. During this 2025 season, the #78 car secured Lexus’s first-ever WEC pole position at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with driver Finn Gehrsitz setting the fastest lap during the Hyperpole session.

The Lamborghini Huracán LMGT3 Evo2

The Lamborghini Huracán LMGT3 Evo2 marked Lamborghini’s entry into the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2024, competing in the newly introduced LMGT3 class. Developed by Lamborghini’s Squadra Corse, this race car is based on the Huracán STO and features a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine, rear-wheel drive, and advanced aerodynamic components designed for endurance racing.

In the 2024 WEC season, Lamborghini partnered with Iron Lynx and the all-female Iron Dames team to field two Huracán LMGT3 Evo2 entries. Iron Lynx ran in the number #60, whilst the Iron Dames ran the number #85.

The Iron Lynx #60 car secured a podium finish in the LMGT3 class at the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, whilst the Iron Dames #85 car achieved two pole positions during the season, showcasing competitive qualifying performance.

Despite a promising debut season, Lamborghini announced its withdrawal from the WEC at the end of 2024. The decision was influenced by new regulations requiring manufacturers in the Hypercar class to field two cars, which did not align with Lamborghini’s strategic plans.

Much More Comes With The DLC

Of course, there are far more features and changes coming alongside the DLC. Here are just some things that will directly affect the cars and circuits you race on as part of the content on offer in Le Mans Ultimate:

The LMGT3 tyre model has had another significant refinement, particularly aimed at reducing the potential abuse of slip angle and increasing low-speed weight, whilst keeping the stability and predictability of the tyre that players have come to expect – as always with plenty of feedback from real-world drivers – we hope it is something players will enjoy.

Race starts have had a bit of a polish, including the class splits being respected. This means that classes are now correctly grouped together, even if they don’t qualify and class pole position will also receive the best side of the grid. We’ve also implemented gaps between classes as well- meaning that by the time the LMGT3s turn up at turn 1, hopefully the Hypercars have sorted out their mess!

For fuel-saving aficionados – the clutch pedal has now been disabled above 1st gear, meaning players will have to lift and coast normally like the rest of us! Additionally, the fuel tab on the multi-function display (or MFD) has been completely revised so that you can access some interesting information about your consumption and allowing you to set lap targets to extend your stint by with warnings if your engineer doesn’t think you’ll make it.
