Le Mans Ultimate Version 1.4.2 Update

Two USA Tracks, 2026 Liveries and a New RaceControl.gg on the horizon.

Le Mans Ultimate’s next update, version 1.4.2, lands next week, and while it’s headlined by two brand-new American circuits, this is very much a “fixes, not features” release. Since version 1.4, the development team has been working through bug reports, support tickets and community feedback, and this update focuses on squashing bugs and improving online stability and UX rather than adding shiny and new. That said, it still arrives with a serious dose of new content. Here’s everything you can expect.

New USA tracks – Road Atlanta and Long Beach

The second instalment of the US Track Pass adds two more legendary circuits to the game as US Track Pack 2.

First up is Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. Where Daytona was all about banking and brute top speed, Road Atlanta is the opposite: flowing, rolling turns, blind crests and constant camber changes, on a lap where the smallest mistake compounds all the way down the hill. It arrives just in time for the real-world Petit Le Mans, with a 10-hour special event running in-game the following week.

Joining it are the unmistakable streets of Long Beach – the first true street course in Le Mans Ultimate. Long Beach is claustrophobic in the best possible way: concrete walls on both sides, blind entries and zero margin for error. It’s a completely different discipline to anything else in the game and a brand-new challenge for drivers.

Road Atlanta and Long Beach are sold together as US Track Pack 2 for $19.99, with a limited-time 10% launch discount. If you already own the US Track Pass, or you’re a Race Control Pro+ subscriber, both tracks unlock automatically on release.

New 2026 ELMS and Le Mans Liveries

The grid at Le Mans changes every year, with new sponsors, new number boards, sometimes entirely new liveries, and version 1.4.2 brings the game in line with this year’s actual 24 Hours of Le Mans entry list.

The 2026 Hypercar Le Mans liveries were quietly added back in version 1.4, and this update completes the set with the LMP2 and LMGT3 fields in their 24-hour specials. On top of that, the ELMS grid is being updated to represent the 2026 season, with fresh liveries across all three classes. It’s always impressive how quickly real-world designs appear on RaceControl.gg’s livery hub during the season – and now those teams and liveries are built right into the 2026 season select.

Every Advantage needed for LMU

New RaceControl.gg Website

Something the team has been teasing for a while is now taking its first steps: the new racecontrol.gg website.

Back in version 1.4, the developers talked about Race OS, the platform investment running quietly behind the scenes as the backbone of everything online. Most of that work you’d never notice directly, but racecontrol.gg is where you will. The new site isn’t just a cosmetic refresh; it’s been rebuilt to improve functionality and, crucially, the experience for players and subscribers. You’ll be able to see upcoming races in far greater detail on a full schedule page, and then register for races directly from the website, with no need to even turn your PC on.

Fixes – Not New Features

The team has put the bulk of its time into bug fixing and stability rather than new features, addressing ongoing UX feedback and online issues, with the next wave of brand-new features held back for version 1.5.

Here are a couple of the bigger talking points:

Online stability (RUDP). The RUDP rollout has had a challenging start, and the net code and disconnections some players have experienced online aren’t what anyone wants to see, especially when close racing is one of LMU’s biggest strengths. The team has already made changes to the network protocol, reversing some of the initial rollout while continuing to refine it. They still believe it’s the right long-term path to reduce disconnections; it just needs more fine-tuning. Public network tests at scale are now beginning, with the community invited to take part. Keep an eye on the Discord server and socials for the test schedule.

The protest system. This is the first update since the new protest system went live, and the stewarding team is working through cases daily to deliver fairer competition. The system now handles over 1,200 protests a day while taking a fraction of the review time of the old one. A reminder for players, though: in non-championship events, only the worst cases – intentional wrecking and unsafe rejoins – can be protested. Around 70% of protests for ordinary racing incidents or false reports are rejected, so it’s worth thinking before you submit.

What’s Coming Next

Version 1.5 isn’t far away and is already shaping up to close out 2026 as another big update. On the roadmap: the final two USA circuits will arrive as US Track Pack 3, the full new racecontrol.gg will go live, and work on an improved single-player experience, which remains a key focus for the team continue. Expect more details closer to release.
