The ADESS AD25 Lands in Le Mans Ultimate – and It’s Free for Everyone

The LMP3 class in Le Mans Ultimate has just been completed. The latest v1.3.3 update brings the ADESS AD25 into the sim as the final third-generation LMP3 chassis to join the grid. The best part? It’s free for every single player.

If you’ve spent any time around endurance racing’s feeder categories, the AD25 might already look familiar. It’s the newest prototype from ADESS, the Lisbon-based Portuguese manufacturer, and you’ll have caught its silhouette in support series such as the Road to Le Mans. Now it’s yours to drive, no season pass required.

Meet the ADESS AD25

Under the engine cover, the AD25 runs the same twin-turbo 3.5-litre Toyota V6 as the rest of the LMP3 field, so on paper it’s an even fight – the differences are in the details. ADESS gave the AD25 a more curved nose that tapers off just ahead of the headlights, where some of its rivals push their nose section further forward. The rear wing endplates carry a distinctive cutaway you won’t find on the others, and if you look down the flanks, you’ll spot a sleek cooling package with four gills cut into the side, a neat hint at the thinking that went into it.

The car made its real-world debut in 2025 with veteran outfit Nielsen Racing. It doesn’t run in the European Le Mans Series alongside its rivals, but it’s a fixture in the Le Mans Cup, where Nielsen fields a pair of them in 2026 – one for Petit Le Mans and Rolex 24 class winner Matt Bell, the other for former Red Bull Junior Jules Caranta. As ever with Studio 397, it’s been lovingly recreated, right down to that bodywork.

Free For Everyone

Here’s the headline for the wider community: the AD25 is free for all LMU players. You don’t need to own a thing to jump in and start putting laps together.

And that matters for more than just your garage. With the car in everyone’s hands, the LMP3 category is being rolled into the beginner daily races very, very soon – opening prototype racing up to drivers who are still finding their feet in Le Mans Ultimate. If you’ve been after a friendlier rung on the endurance ladder than throwing yourself straight into a Hypercar, this is exactly it. Expect the LMP3 grids to fill out fast.

Completing The LMP3 Lineup

The AD25 is the piece that finishes the set. It joins the third-generation LMP3 grid alongside the Duqueine D09, the Ginetta G61-LT-P3 Evo and the Ligier JS P325 – the European Le Mans Series class of 2025 that originally arrived as part of LMU’s three ELMS Packs (also available together as a Season Pass, which bundled in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Circuit Paul Ricard and Silverstone).

With the ADESS slotting in for free on top of that content, the full Gen 3 LMP3 field is now represented in the sim. Whichever chassis suits your style – and with shared power across the class, it really does come down to feel, you’ve got the complete grid to choose from.

Season 11: the LMP3 Sprint Tour

With the full LMP3 grid now on the table, there’s a brand-new Online Championship built around it. The LMP3 Sprint Tour, which runs across Season 11, from 16 June to 11 August 2026: an eight-week campaign open to every LMP3 in the class, run on open setups. Nothing is stopping you from taking the ADESS AD25 – or whichever chassis you’ve fallen for to victory.

Races are a punchy 45 minutes, long enough for strategy and tyre management to come into play but short enough to fit into an evening, and the calendar reads like a proper world tour: Paul Ricard, Imola, Silverstone and Portimão from the ELMS, then COTA, Sebring and Interlagos from the WEC, before a finale at Spa-Francorchamps. A Bronze 2 SR entry requirement and two drop rounds keep it welcoming for newer drivers and forgiving enough that one rough week won’t sink your title hopes.
