Mark your calendars for December 10th because Le Mans Ultimate is going through a massive transformation both with content and features to enrich the platform even further.
We are talking about a new class of car in the LMGT3s, we are talking about hosted servers so you can host your own community races, we are talking new tracks from the 2024 WEC season.
The list doesn’t stop there either as plenty more features are dropping on the 10th with overlays being made available for those wanting to host events. New online championship options will be available and finally there will be a new subscription service boasting many perks for drivers, but these will be covered in a different article.
Let’s Dive In To The DLC Season Pack 3
We would say this is the main highlight of the update, but in all honesty we think alongside this, hosted servers are going to dominate the conversations. But that’s for later. Let’s dive into what new content is arriving with the DLC Season Pack 3.
New LMGT3 Cars
We have several new cars coming in this first of two LMGT3 DLCs with the BMW M4 GT3, Corvette Z06 and Ferrari 296 GT3 all making their debut on the sim. The McLaren 720s GT3 will be a free car coming alongside the DLC for drivers to download and use straight away.
This means the 2024 World Endurance Championship LMGT3 grid makes it’s way to Le Mans Ultimate and you get to experience all of your favourite cars, teams, drivers and liveries from the 2024 season.
It’s worth noting that these machines generally speaking feel 1:1 the same as the GTE counterparts they are replacing in the corners, with the main difference being that GT3s are more stable but have the same rotation. The new LMGT3s also have less topspeed.
Le Mans where it will be very noticeable as an example: The LMGTEs could reach top speeds of almost 300kph with qualifying fuel, whilst the LMGT3s top out about 280kph.
Sao Paolo, Interlagos
The Autódromo José Carlos Pace, renamed to honor the Formula 1 driver, also better known as Autódromo de Interlagos or simply Interlagos, is a 4.309 km (2.677 mi) motorsport circuit located in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. Comprising of 15 turns the FIA grade 1 venue has undergone extensive improvements and redevelopments since its inception in 1940 to keep it up to date. The circuit also includes a kart facility named after Ayrton Senna.
